Download and Installation Instructions

  • Download the Unit Firmware and save to a known location.
  • Download the Management Application (Windows or Linux) and save to a known location.
  • Unzip (Windows) and run the Management Application installer, or install one of the Linux packages.
  • To install the unit firmware, open the Axtrinet Control Application, and select TOOLS then UPGRADE UNIT.
  • Select the relevant unit and unit firmware file (.bin) and then DOWNLOAD to start the upgrade process.
  • The download progress window appears while the file is downloaded to the unit, and takes 2-3 minutes.
  • If successful, the “Download Complete” message is displayed, and the unit reboots.
  • The PWR LED flashes amber while the new image is processed and saved into unit memory, and takes 3-4 minutes.
  • The unit then boots normally
