Axtrinet’s electronics hardware design expertise is focused on embedded microprocessors including from: NXP (Freescale) PowerQUICC/QorIQ; i.MX, Kinetis and Layerscape; Microchip PIC16, PIC18 and PIC24; Marvell TI Stellaris; embedded ARM based CPUs of all sizes.

Axtrinet’s has completed many designs using networking technologies from Marvell, Broadcom and Microsemi (Vitesse) with speed ranging from 10Base-T to 100GBase-X QSFP28 and 10GBase-X SFP+ & XFP 10GBase-T 25GBase-X SFP28 40GBase-X QSFP+ and also IEEE1588V2 PTP technology from Semtech and Microsemi (Zarlink) for critical time control across networks as well as GPS technologies from Quectel.

For custom specialist processing functions, Axtrinet can carry out FPGA design using a wide range of FPGAs from companies such as Xilinx, Altera, Lattice and Achronix and Verilog and VHDL design tools.

Whilst happy to work with any toolchain we have experience in schematic design and layout tools from Cadence (OrCAD), Mentor (DX Designer) and Zuken (Cadstar).
